Travel Information
The county of Chania lies on the west part of the island of Crete. It covers an area of 2.376 Km2 and has a population of 140.000 (1991 sensus). It is divided into four regions and its capital is the city of Chania (52.000). In 1999 the county was separated into 23 municipalities (Kapodistrian) and two communities. The northern region of the county ends in three peninsulas with hospitable beaches and calm seas. As for the southern part, on the Libian Sea, it boasts the longest sunlight- time in Europe. The North, West and South sides of the County are surrounded by sea.

The best sunset we saw in santorini was at the hotel. The restaurant and bar were amazing and the staff were amazing. The rooms were always spotless and the ladies at the reception gave us so much fantastic information and couldn?t be more helpful. The man that drove the bus in and out of fira was so kind and lovely- that service was brilliant. We have never had a better experience in any hotel. Absolutely Amazing ! The staff are generally friendly & helpful, the wifi is excellent but the plus point is the location right on the harbourside, we had a room overlooking the harbour, well worth the extra cost. We did not have breakfast as only continental is offered but nearly all the restaurants do breakfast. Overall a very enjoyable stay | 5 |

Excellent air conditioning and plenty of hot water. The cleaners did an excellent job. All staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate but some fruit would have been nice. You couldn?t ask for a better view and felt it was excellent value. We would certainly stay here again. | 5 |
